Big Brothers, Big Sisters of RPI
Want to return to your childhood for a few hours before starting your college experience? Big Brothers, Big Sisters is a mentor group for young children in the Troy area. Spend the day playing field games – three legged races, water balloon toss, egg relay, and more. Or if you like indoor activities…decorate cookies and do arts and crafts while relaxing with a movie.
Susan Odell Taylor School
Spend the morning helping a local elementary school get ready for the fall! Help spruce up the outside with colorful plants or cleaning the play area. Organize the libraries and help the teachers set up their classrooms. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for students who enjoy gardening, painting, organizing, and those handy with tools!
Latham Regional Food Bank Farm
Work alongside your classmates at the Regional Food Bank Farm! This volunteer opportunity is meant for students who love being outdoors, who don’t mind the dirt or mud. Spend the morning out in the field helping to harvest the field so that the food can be given out to those who need it through the Regional Food Bank.
