Move-in information

Your move-in date will depend on which Student Orientation session and Navigating Rensselaer & Beyond programs you are taking part in.

  • If you are attending SO session 5, and are going on the overnight trip to Silver Bay Adventure Quest, you will move in on Thursday, August 20. Check-in will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Rensselaer Union.
  • If you attended SO sessions 1-4 and are participating in a Block A overnight experience, you will move-in on Saturday, August 22. Check-in will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Houston Field House (corner of Burdett Ave. and Peoples Ave.)
  • If you are attending Student Orientation Session 5 (August 24–25), you will move-in on Sunday, August 23. Check-in will be from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Houston Field House (corner of Burdett Ave. and Peoples Ave.)
  • All other students will move-in on Tuesday, August 25. Check-in will be from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Houston Field House (corner of Burdett Ave. and Peoples Ave.)

All students will have a floor meeting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25 and will have NRB activities that run into the evening.
