An experience you will not forget! Get to know your fellow classmates as you challenge yourself with beginning and intermediate climbs on some of the famous natural rock faces in the Keene Valley area of the Adirondack Mountains. Learn and practice new techniques or refine existing skills under the guidance of experienced Chingachgook Trip Leaders and enjoy nights chatting around the campfire while making new friends on this 3-day/2-night trip. Bring a sleeping bag and ground pad as you’ll be spending two nights at a local campground (with nearby basic bathroom facilities). If you need personal gear, the Office of the First-Year Experience has some limited resources available; call us at (518) 276-8632.
“I really enjoyed the challenge – the staff made us feel comfortable and confident to try new heights – I would go back tomorrow if I could.”
