It’s sure to be a splash! If you enjoy sailing or are interested in learning more about sailing, this trip is for you. Come aboard the 24-foot stable sailboats that love to be out sailing on beautiful, crystal-clear Lake George in the Adirondacks. Set up your home base on an island campsite on Lake George for this 3-day/2-night experience and spend your days trimming the sails, learning the mechanics, going fender-boarding, swimming, basking, and getting to know your fellow classmates. Chat under the stars around an evening campfire and then retire for the evening in the tents. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag and ground pad with you. If you need personal gear, the Office of the First-Year Experience has some limited resources available; call us at (518) 276-8632.
