Q: When and how will I register for classes? top
A: Transfer students register on campus during their orientation session.
Q: Will I be able to get the classes I want? top
A: All students will be able to get a full schedule that will be of use to them, either it’s a class they want, or need, to apply toward their graduation requirements. These may not always be their first choice classes, but will be classes that are needed for their degree.
Q: Are parents/family members of transfers able to attend a Parent Orientation? top
A: Yes, parents and family members are welcome to join their students throughout the transfer orientation program. Parents check-in with their student and may opt to purchase a meal pass for a fee. Parents must register to attend the program by completing the guest information on their student’s reservation form.
If the names of parents or family members are not listed on the Student Orientation confirmation letter, we do not have your registration information. Please call (518) 276-8632 to register. Although all family members are welcome, we ask that you please consider carefully your choice to bring very young siblings as a separate sibling program is not offered.
